Global ‘Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared’ initiative debuts in Ukraine

Mary Kay rolls out its biggest worldwide campaign in Ukraine, linking beauty to confidence, community and shared opportunity for women.

Global ‘Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared’ initiative debuts in Ukraine

On September 22, 2026, Mary Kay announced the arrival of its most ambitious global platform to date – Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared™. The initiative, now active in Ukraine, is designed to turn traditional ideas of beauty into a collective experience that fuels confidence kindness and mutual growth. By weaving together product innovation, entrepreneurship and social outreach, the campaign seeks to reach women in all 40 markets where the brand operates.

Campaign philosophy: beauty expands when it is shared

At the heart of the movement lies a simple premise: beauty gains power when it moves beyond the mirror. Ryan Rogers chief executive of Mary Kay Inc., described the effort as “women supporting women” and emphasized that the program is “more than a campaign; it is a movement.” The brand’s messaging positions beauty as a catalyst for personal development, encouraging participants to exchange time, knowledge and encouragement. This shift from individual display to collective uplift aligns with Mary Kay’s long-standing belief that true beauty is rooted in confidence and community not merely appearance.

Ukrainian rollout: interactive spaces and festival presence

In Kyiv, the launch will unfold through immersive beauty stations at major city festivals and public gatherings. Visitors will encounter pop-up lounges where independent consultants demonstrate new product lines, host quick makeup tutorials and facilitate dialogue circles focused on personal goals. Partnerships with local media amplify the message, while the campaign’s visual language—bright pink accents and dynamic signage—signals a welcoming environment for women of every age and background. General Manager Viktoriia Zoria-Iatsenko highlighted that, in Ukraine, “beauty has always been a source of resilience and opportunity, especially amid challenges,” underscoring the relevance of a shared-beauty model.

Social initiatives: learning, health and empowerment

The launch dovetails with two flagship social programs. First, “The Real You: Shine with Mary Kay 2.0” partners with the Association of Mentoring for Children and Youth to empower teenage girls from vulnerable groups. The curriculum covers self-care, makeup basics, digital literacy, online safety and mental-wellness, equipping participants with skills to navigate today’s world confidently. Second, the ongoing Pink Changing Lives® initiative supports women undergoing breast-cancer treatment by offering beauty-focused self-care sessions that foster emotional recovery and reinforce a positive self-image. Both projects embody the campaign’s promise that shared beauty can translate into tangible, life-changing outcomes.

Recognition and market footprint

Mary Kay Ukraine has already earned multiple accolades that reinforce its credibility. The company was named “Company of the Year” in 2023 and 2024 by the All-Ukrainian Industry and Analytical Center, while the international market research firm Ipsos awarded it the 2024 “Choice of the Year” honors for Lip Color Cosmetics and Anti-Aging Cosmetics. In the broader arena, Mary Kay ranked eighth in the 2026 Forbes Best Brands for Social Impact list— the only beauty brand among the top fifteen—and climbed to second place in Forbes’ Best Customer Service ranking, a leap from 93rd the previous year. Euromonitor International has crowned Mary Kay the #1 Direct-Selling Brand for Skin Care and Color Cosmetics worldwide for four consecutive years, and Beauty Inc. placed the company 19th among the world’s top 100 beauty firms in 2025. With operations across 40 markets, the brand’s global reach adds weight to the Ukrainian rollout.

Global echo: the campaign’s arrival in China

While Ukraine serves as the latest launchpad, the campaign debuted earlier in Shanghai on September 17, 2026. There, Mary Kay China staged a pink-themed car market, pop-up cafés and large-scale digital billboards to translate the same message of shared beauty into local experiences. General Manager Mark Chen explained that the initiative “reinterprets beauty as mutual companionship, encouragement and shared success,” mirroring the Ukrainian vision while tailoring activations to Chinese consumer habits. This coordinated rollout illustrates how the brand is positioning Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared™ as a unifying narrative across continents.
