“Initially, I sold my paintings independently before transitioning to a gallery model, which took a hefty 50% commission. Now, I focus on direct sales, showcasing my art through photographs taken in my home, allowing potential buyers to envision their pieces in a lived-in space instead of a stark gallery,” she explains.
Kitchen and bedroom: Personal touches of elegance
The kitchen reflects a blend of vintage charm, with small touches like a vintage plate from Notre Nóm and a Hario kettle adding character. A flea market table and candlestick bring warmth to the culinary space, making it a delightful area for family gatherings.
In the bedroom, Simone’s style continues with her favorite Zara Home bedding and her own artwork gracing the walls. A memorable incident occurred when Ava, as a child, accidentally kicked through one of Simone’s canvases.
