Dasha Des, a renowned club owner and influencer, is at the forefront of this trend, setting the standard for luxury padel fashion.
Des’ journey began with Le Club Lacoste in Courchevel, France, and the One & Only in the Maldives, where she drew inspiration for her own venture, Casa Padel, launched in January in Dubai. This luxurious padel club features five artificial-turf courts with stunning views of the Burj Al Arab, along with a chic café that serves as the perfect backdrop for capturing your padel ‘fits.

Des emphasizes the versatility of padel fashion, stating, “The great thing about padel is you can dress up for a game and easily go to lunch with your girls, or hang out in the same outfit after.” However, achieving the perfect balance between style and functionality is key. Her go-to pieces include a pretty pleated skirt a strappy sports bra, and sleeveless athletic tops or dresses that allow for unrestricted movement. For a foolproof look, Des suggests an Alo tennis skirt set, which is a popular choice among padel enthusiasts. “You will probably meet two or three others in the same stuff or colors,” she jokes.

The après-padel scene is a world of its own, and Des shares her tips for a seamless transition. “I wouldn’t change. You would not bring a whole second wardrobe to padel,” she says. Instead, she opts for strategic layering, such as an old-school polo or an oversized cropped jacket with a pleated skirt, paired with high socks and subtle jewelry.
Many on-court accessories, like cute gear bags and padel shoes, also serve as aesthetic and practical choices. Des is a fan of Wilson’s footwear line, which features special treads for artificial turf and hard court surfaces. Des is particularly fond of her Miu Miu x New Balance pullover jacket, which comes in the classic padel green and white colorway. Des even had a jeweler custom-make a small padel racket encrusted with diamonds, seamlessly transitioning from a sports accessory to a high-fashion statement. With luxury brands releasing specialized designer rackets and logo-stamped court pouches, participating in the trend has never been easier.
