Aquaphor Baby, a trusted name in gentle skin care, has expanded its baby line with the introduction of the new Aquaphor Baby Sensitive Lotion. This hydrating formula is designed to nourish and protect delicate baby skin, catering to a wide range of users from newborns to adults.
To commemorate this launch, Aquaphor Baby partnered with Scary Mommy to host BONDING a unique pop-up experience in Carlsbad, California. Held at Kids & Coffee, this event focused on connection and care, offering families a day of interactive activities and skin care education.
A Day of Connection and Play
As families entered the event, they were greeted with Aquaphor-branded grippy socks, setting the tone for a day of comfort and fun. The space was divided into various activations, including a photo-ready Welcome Wall, a Sensory Station, and a Touch Lab. These areas encouraged both adults and children to engage with kinetic sand, climbing structures, and tunnels, fostering a sense of play and exploration.
For those needing a quieter moment, a decompressing room was available where kids could draw and play with Play-Doh. Meanwhile, parents could learn gentle bonding techniques in the baby massage room, guided by a licensed therapist who demonstrated infant massage techniques to soothing classical music.
Nourishment and Memories
The café at Kids & Coffee provided refreshments, including caffeinated beverages and snacks from That’s It and Once Upon A Farm. A roaming photographer captured candid family moments throughout the day, including at the popular claw machine filled with Aquaphor products and stuffed animals.
Guests left the event with swag bags containing the new Baby Sensitive Lotion, Baby healing Ointment, Healing Balm Stick, and other thoughtful gifts. This event was more than a product launch; it highlighted the importance of small rituals that help families connect, from gentle skin care routines to everyday moments of play and care.
