It ended up lasting two years, but his family was getting worse as he went on. At the age of 14 she was smoking weed and got into a ‘bad crowd’, and her brother was getting physically abusive to her.
His parents relapsed and their addiction worsened during this time, and his father was selling drugs. During the end of this probationary period, her parents separated, Mom, choosing to live in the neighborhood with her boyfriend. At one point, Amber texted her friend and told her she wanted to die.
This friend ended up turning Amber into school the next day, and Amber ended up in a psychiatric hospital for 6 days for a psychic evaluation. She says she was diagnosed with depression but had already been on antidepressants since the age of 10, so there haven’t been any major changes.
Shortly after returning to school, she was called to the office and found out that she would be placed in foster care. Amber was returned to the children’s shelter for months and was only allowed a one-day weekly visit with her mother and brother.
After a few foster families, one of which was her aunt, she was fed up with the system and when she was 17 she joked with her best friend over text that she should move out. This friend ended up letting her live with her family, but things quickly went south.
Oklahoma
She became more depressed and distant, and she and her friend stopped getting along. Amber reports that this friend and her brother started torturing her and she slowly climbed to 420lbs. When she turned 18 she moved to Oklahoma to live with her family, where her mother lived and still takes drugs.
Reid was diagnosed with panic disorder and it turned out not to be a good deal for anyone. Fortunately, he was having a long-distance relationship with Kacey and was about to visit her in Arizona. While there, she received a message from her grandmother stating that she was not welcome to return to her home in Oklahoma, so she should have stayed with Kacey.
Kacey’s family wasn’t happy with this and Amber says Kacey’s mother and boyfriend hated her. The boy reportedly threatened to kill her and she was abused by them in several ways. When that was over, he immediately moved in with Krystal, and then with Destiny, continuing the cycle of moves and states for the inevitable future.
