Zendaya dazzled at The Odyssey premiere with looks inspired by Greek mythology, from Schiaparelli's modern goddess to Alexander McQueen's ancient quests.

Zendaya's The Odyssey Premiere: A Fashion Odyssey Through Time

Zendaya has once again proven her status as a fashion icon, turning the premiere of The Odyssey into a runway of mythological proportions. With each appearance, she wove together ancient tales and contemporary couture, creating looks that transcended time.

From the streets of London to the avenues of Paris, Zendaya’s wardrobe for the press tour became a living tapestry of Greek mythology, showcasing her ability to blend the past with the present in the most exquisite way.

Modern Goddess: Schiaparelli’s Couture Masterpiece

For the world premiere of The Odyssey in London, Zendaya stepped out in a breathtaking creation from Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 couture collection. The dress, which had just walked the Paris runway hours earlier, was a testament to the power of modern craftsmanship. The lace-up bodice resembling a marble sculpture, showcased Zendaya’s figure with intricate detail, while the ombré beaded fringe skirt transitioned from white to silver, moving elegantly with every step.

The star completed the look with a pair of nude pointy-toe shoes and a multi-strand diamond Chopard necklace that draped elegantly over her breastplate. Her hair and makeup were equally inspired, with a silvery-white eyeshadow that complemented the dress’s tones and a braided updo reminiscent of Athena’s helmet.

The Odyssey Continues: Valentino’s Grecian Elegance

Inside the premiere, Zendaya surprised everyone with another stunning look—a Valentino dress from the fall 2026 collection. This time, she channeled the spirit of ancient Greece with a sage bra top that mimicked the appearance of laurel leaves. The dove gray drapery of the skirt echoed the simplicity of an ancient tunic, creating a harmonious blend of old and new.

Zendaya swapped her impressive necklace for a different piece from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, featuring nearly 27 carats of diamonds that dangled elegantly from her ears. This look was a testament to her ability to transform traditional themes into contemporary masterpieces.

Through the Looking Glass: Alexander McQueen’s Timeless Design

In Paris, Zendaya took a step back in time, wearing a look from Alexander McQueen’s spring 1997 couture collection for Givenchy. This was McQueen’s first offering for the house, inspired by the Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts. The figure-hugging, corseted white long-sleeve dress featured a high V-neck and padded shoulders, a far cry from the toga-esque drapery of her previous looks.

The dress, originally modeled by Debra Shaw, was a bold statement that showcased Zendaya’s commitment to fashion. She completed the look with an intricate gold mask headpiece by Philip Treacy, which began beneath the apples of her cheeks and extended well above her head, reaching a sharp point. This look was a nod to the past, proving that some designs are truly timeless.

Zendaya’s Odyssey press tour was more than just a series of red carpet appearances; it was a journey through time, blending ancient myths with contemporary couture. With each look, she proved that fashion is not just about what we wear, but about the stories we tell and the legends we bring to life.
