Quick Makeup Tricks for Stunning Gray Hair

Gray hair can be striking, yet it may also lead to feelings of looking washed out or older than desired. To address this, I invited my friend Tracy Jo, who confidently sports her beautiful gray hair, to share some practical makeup tips that can brighten your complexion in just 10 minutes. Step 1: Flawless Skin in No Time

Tracy Jo prefers a minimal makeup approach, so I aimed for a light and fresh foundation. I introduced the Colour Change Foundation from PrimePrometics. This innovative product begins as a white cream and adjusts to match your skin tone perfectly. It features a botanical hydration complex, making it breathable and buildable, ideal for achieving a natural finish without settling into fine lines.

After applying the foundation, I added a touch of concealer to brighten her eyes and conceal any redness, ensuring a soft finish. The result? Flawless yet natural skin.

Tip: You don’t need to apply foundation all over your face. Focus on the areas that need it most, using a little extra for stubborn spots. I recommend applying foundation first, followed by concealer, to maintain a light and fresh look.

Step 2: Brows that Balance Your Look

With gray hair, well-groomed brows can significantly enhance your overall appearance. For Tracy Jo, I opted for a natural look while refining her brow shape using the Silver Queen Eyebrow Pencil and a touch of the Silver Queen Brow Gel. The objective was to create balance without overshadowing her beautiful eyes.

It’s best to use a blonde or soft gray brow pencil to harmonize with silver hair. Remember: achieving balance is essential!

Tip: Eyebrow shapes can vary based on trends, face shape, and location. For example, my friend in Atlanta has a distinctly different brow style compared to those in Colorado. Choose the style that suits you best!

Step 3: Eyes that Pop

Tracy Jo has captivating hooded eyes, so we aimed to enhance them without overwhelming her look. I applied a darker shade in the outer crease and a bold top eyeliner in Mulberry. Effective blending is crucial—diffusing lines while keeping colors vibrant is key as we age.

To add drama, I lined her lower lashes with Mocha Eyeliner. Next, I used Toffee Cream Shadow underneath her eyes—a perfect neutral base for fair to medium skin tones. I added a bronze shade called Nebula to lift her lids and a touch of sparkle with Stardust in the center. Blending with a flat brush (or your finger) can work wonders.

Tip: Always start with a base shade like Toffee to warm up your eye area before layering additional colors. If unsure about blending, test the colors on your hand first.
