Zendaya’s Goddess-Inspired Looks for The Odyssey Premiere

Zendaya's looks for The Odyssey premiere are a masterclass in mythical fashion, blending ancient Greek inspiration with modern couture.

Zendaya's Goddess-Inspired Looks for The Odyssey Premiere

Zendaya has once again captivated the fashion world with her enchanting outfits for The Odyssey press tour. Portraying the goddess Athena in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Zendaya’s looks are a harmonious blend of ancient Greek mythology and contemporary haute couture. Her stylist, Law Roach, has curated a collection of primarily white ensembles, featuring draped textures, flowing trains, and exquisite high jewelry, all while maintaining a thematic coherence that pays homage to her character.

The Odyssey press tour marks the third major outing this year for Zendaya and Roach, following their successful campaigns for The Drama and Spider-Man: Brand-New Day. Each outfit Zendaya wears, whether it’s fresh-off-the-runway couture, current-season designs, or deep-cut archival pieces, is a testament to her versatility and Roach’s expert styling. Their collaboration continues to set new standards in red carpet fashion.

Zendaya’s Paris Premiere: A Nod to Greek Mythology

For the film’s Paris premiere, Zendaya stepped out in a stark white dress from Givenchy’s spring 1997 haute couture collection, originally designed by the late Alexander McQueen. The dress featured powerful padded shoulders with dramatic, exaggerated sleeves. Zendaya completed the look with a pointed gold lace headpiece crafted by Phillip Treacy, an edgy dark lip, and white Christian Louboutin pumps. This ensemble was particularly fitting as McQueen’s “The Search for the Golden Fleece” collection was inspired by the Greek poem “Jason and the Argonauts,” which, like The Odyssey, features an appearance from the goddess Athena.

World Premiere: A Fusion of Modern and Mythical

At the world premiere of The Odyssey, Zendaya showcased two stunning looks. The first was a sleek Valentino Spring 2026 dress with an embroidered green bodice shaped by overlapping leaf and petal motifs, finished by a draped gray silk skirt. Roach complemented this piece with dangling Chopard diamond earrings and matching gray Louboutin heels. The second look was a Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall 2026 gown, which featured a nude porcelain bodice with a beaded reverse-ombré skirt and built-in lighting, allowing Zendaya to glow both figuratively and literally. This look was completed with a five-tiered diamond Chopard necklace, matching stud earrings, silky Louboutin pumps, and a dreamy Grecian-style braid.

The Schiaparelli Breastplate Dress: From Runway to Red Carpet

The Schiaparelli dress, designed by Daniel Roseberry for the fall/winter 2026 couture show, was a standout piece. The design centered on a sculpted white breastplate, inspired by the idealized nudes of ancient Greek sculpture, that laced up the back. The skirt faded from pearl white into cascading metallic gray ombré beaded fringe. Zendaya elevated the look with a jaw-dropping Chopard collier composed of a 12.37-carat diamond and 76.11 carats of diamonds set in 18K white gold. Her beauty choices, including icy silver highlighter at the inner corners of her eyes and long, textured hair styled with a halo braid, completed the ethereal look.

London Premiere: A Statuesque Appearance

In London, Zendaya brightened up the carpet in a stark white Jacquemus dress. The custom piece featured a halter-neck bodice with a perfectly draped open back, all lined with rounded beads. A matching headscarf brought a statuesque touch to the look, which Roach accentuated with matching white Louboutin pumps and gold disc earrings from Barron London. These earrings dated back to the first millennium BC, making them over 3,000 years old. To kickstart her fashion journey, Zendaya stepped out in a swishing white Khaite blouse and skirt from the brand’s Resort 2027 collection, cinched by a wrapped leather belt strung with gold metal accents. Gold Louboutin sandals and a set of small drop earrings added a touch of Grecian glamour.
